:oD
Här följer en liten bildkavalkad från veckan:
During week 31, I was course leader for a costume course during Middelalderuka in Numedal(the Medieval week in Numedal, Norway), at the Medieval workshop, throughout five (!) days. It was five intense and exciting days, with much fun and laughter and concentrated silence. We worked on the basis of findings and contemporary images and all the participants were very talented and open to my nerdy ideas, and the result was subsequently excellent. : oD

There were several other crafts courses at the Medieval workshop and during lunch I took the opportunity to walk around and see what the others came up with.
Med en nysmidd pilspets i handen.
With a newly forged arrow head in the hand.
Där var både smideskurs OCH järnblästringskurs...
There were both a forging course AND an iron blasting(?smelting?) course ...
...and a basket making course. Baskets of spruce root...or was it birch root. I don't remember but it looked really interesting. :o)
There were also courses in sprang, which is quite big in Norway, laggning (wooden vessels), bow making and more. Very nice initiative and fun with a lot of dedicated people in the same place.
