Jag har fått den stora äran att ställa ut nålbundna ting i nutida design på det fantastiskt fina "Galleri Gamle Eidsfoss".
Vilken plats, vilken miljö! Jag känner mig stolt och glad.
I have had the great honor to exhibit needlebound things in contemporary design, at the fine "Gallery Old Eidsfoss".
What a place, what an environment! I feel proud and happy.
Eidsfoss är en gammal bruksort, med ett stort, nu nedlagt, järnverk, som idag fylls med andra funktioner, t.ex. konst och konsthantverk, musikfestival eller knivträff. Samhället ligger vackert vid sjön Eikern och är väl värt ett besök, här finns mycket fint att se och uppleva.
Eidsfoss is an old industrial town, with a large, now closed, ironworks, which today is filled with other features, such as arts and crafts, music festival or a knife making convention. The community is beautifully situated by the lake Eikern and is well worth a visit, lot's of nice things to see and experience.
Galleri Gamle Eidsfoss ligger i en av de gamla verkstäderna. Maskiner och verktyg är bevarade och bildar en vacker, rå ram runt de utställda föremålen, skapade av lokala konstnärer och konsthantverkare.
Gallery Old Eidsfoss is located in one of the old workshops. Machines and tools are kept and form a beautiful, raw, industrial frame around the many exhibits, created by local artists and artisans.
